Off The Grid
Off the Grid is a poster for the 2026 John Abbott College’s Graphic and Web Design Grad Show. It captures the pivotal transition of the 2026 Graphic and Web Design graduates. This conceptual poster illustrates the leap from the structural environment of John Abbott College into the boundless professional graphic design industry.
Type takes center stage in this poster. By allowing the “Off the Grid” title to go beyond its grid alignment system, the poster mirrors the journey of a student stepping into the design world. The layout respects a fully bilingual execution and offers a vibrant tri-color palette of Orange, Cyan, and Magenta. (It also scored 3rd place on the student vote, too!)
